hey everyone

I just wanted to update everyone, I realize that this is far due but i am going to post pictures of a horse character that I am inventing, he is 1/2 of the story teller side of the narritive along-side the forementioned robin character. Working on other props for him along with the costume design (a pain in the ass to try to figure out when you have 0 sewing experience) lets see how he turns out

3 Little pigs

I began working on reworking a few ideas and scraping many. The trip is seeming to be long, I think im just in a jam where I have ideas, just not the know-how and materials.... so frustrating

ribbon vomit

So I am workin' on a character that is one half of the narrators, and it happens that she vomits ribbon (stings of life, ties of fate, ETC.) and the other narrator reads and interprets the ribbon, but I am having some issues getting the right feel. I want her to be elegant and beautiful, yet very abandon and detroit-esque. I have been looking at birds, Detroit architecture, graffiti, and Alexander McQueen for inspiration but the problem seems to be that I don't have the technical skills and sewing magic, so I have to find a way to improvise

I will also be workin on figuring out the actress situation. I'm thinking someone with a very strong nack for movement based communication. I don't want her to be able to talk (since her mouth is constantly full of ribbon) so this is really important.

just a few resources i am looking at:

In the lab til something hits me I suppose.

heres a little back story

With the construction of my next project, I just wanted to show you a bit of my last project. This was a very short film that i worked on about personal struggle and revelation. The 2 minute film, named BUG, took 2 months of research and hard work, along with the support of my close friends, my classmates, and my family, and was probably the most stressful, fun, exciting, and amazing projects I have worked on thus far.

This work and my next film (working title "WOLF") is the constantly evolving basis of a few upcoming shows that I am preparing for. enjoy

my first entry

I would like to take a journey with you. I have realized that, at this point in my life, it is going to be important to record what I am doing, where I am going, and the people who join me in this exciting quest.

I want to share my process, my ideas, and my work with you, and hope that we can help each other. Though I am an artist, I draw my inspiration from everywhere (pun completely intended): how the city moves and writhes, to something i hear a off-duty stripper scream across my favorite 24-hour restaurant at 3 a.m, to the way a leaf will perch itself upon my lovers head.

Considering I don't quite know what else to do, shall we get started?
